    How does the WorldNavigator.com Activity & Gift Registry work?

    1) WorldNavigator.com is unique in offering a Personalized Webpage & Registry to share with your guests, providing important information such as:

    • Date and Location of your Destination Event

    • Online Event Registration or Online RSVP Service

    • How your guests can easily book their Travel Arrangements & Hotel Accommodations

    • Destination Adventure and Activity suggestions for attendees to enjoy

    Begin by creating an Event Webpage Profile. Once completed, add detailed information regarding your Destination Event, along with suggested Adventures and Activities, and then email your guests a “Save The Date” card announcing an invitation to visit your Personalized Webpage here on WorldNavigator.com

    2) As a wedding couple: Your personalized Activity & Gift Registry will also list wedding gift suggestions that your guests can purchase.  Your friends and family will feel a deep heartfelt satisfaction in knowing that; not only were they able to share your wedding day with you, but they played an important part in fulfilling your honeymoon memories, as well.

    3) For Corporate, Alumni, or Social Events: This type of Activity & Gift Registry allows attendees to purchase planned group activities, and purchase Pre- and Post-Event activities to enjoy on their own. For Social Events, the attendees may also choose to purchase the “Guest of Honor” a gift, as well.

    What is the cost for creating a personal Webpage and Activity & Gift Registry?

    Our service is free; you can post a detailed webpage, which includes important information, and announces a “Save the Date” to assure everyone is informed of your event date and location.

    We can offer our webpage service free of charge, because we charge the purchaser, a nominal processing fee of 10% for the Activity and/or Gift purchased.

    The WorldNavigator.com Team has personally experienced the destination venues, hotels, cuisine and adventures that we offer.  It is through this selective process that ensures our complete confidence that our Knowledgeable Local Guides and Vendors will give you the same warm welcome, great service and true cultural experience that we continually receive.

    How are Activities & Gifts purchased?

    We accept the following forms of payment.  Major credit cards; Visa, Master Card and Discover, or choose our Paypal Option.  Once the purchase and payment have been processed, each vendor is notified of your purchase.  A Confirmation Certificate is issued to the recipient, and mailed no less than 30 days prior to their event date for each Activity or Gift that is purchased.

        

    How do I redeem my Certificate that confirms payment for an Activity or Gift?

    A Confirmation Certificate is issued 30 days prior to your event date for each Activity or Gift that is purchased.  It is the responsibility of each certificate recipient to contact the Activity or Gift Vendor to make a reservation; this assures your participation on the date that you have selected to enjoy your wonderful adventure; we recommend that your reservations be made 2 – 4 weeks in advance, if possible.  Each Certificate includes detailed information, such as, the Activity Vendor’s name and contact information, a confirmation number and the dollar value of your certificate.  Present your Confirmation Certificate, to the vendor when you arrive to enjoy your adventure. 

     

    What happens when someone purchases a portion of a gift, but the cost of the Activity is more than the Confirmation Certificate?

    If you receive a certificate that is less than the dollar value of the actual listed cost of the Activity, you the recipient have two choices.  You can submit the certificate plus cash to the vendor for the balance at the time of your reservation, or 25 days prior to your event date give advance written (email) notice by contacting SydPrince@WorldNavigator.com and we will issue a Visa Gift Card in the amount of the purchase.

     

    How do I check to see if purchases have been made in my Activity & Gift Registry?

    Your personal “Registry” page will display the “review screen” which offers a feature that will list purchases made, date purchased and the name of the person that purchased the item.  Another feature is the personalized registry notification message that is emailed to you when a purchase is made. 

    Once I have created an Activity & Gift Registry and Webpage, am I allowed to edit the text?

    Yes, once you have logged in and opened your webpage, you can edit and update the text.  This feature allows you to keep your guests informed of all new and updated information regarding your event.
